Operations Manager, Manufacturing Colgate Oral Pharmaceuticals

What attracted you to Colgate?
I joined Colgate right after my graduation and have been with the company ever since. I chose Colgate because of its strong name and reputation, good track record of financial performance and global reach.
What do you do at Colgate?
I am responsible for production, maintenance, engineering, and people development at the Dallas facility. I'm also involved with Safety and GMP compliance issues, continuous improvement problem solving, and driving out unnecessary waste or inefficiency in the operation. I work closely with the Marketing department to support new product launches and customer service.
Why do you stay with Colgate?
I like working for a business leader. I enjoy working with people of similar values and principles in a company that understands the importance of balancing work and personal life.
Colgate is not as rigid or structured as our competitors; it doesn't have a cutthroat environment. It has more heart and more concern for personal values.
And the opportunities for advancement are endless for people who are willing to learn new aspects of the business in different environments. Working at Colgate is like having several mini-careers within one career. You can get new challenging assignments every 3-5 years, which enables you to sharpen your existing skills and learn many new ones. Colgate is the place where you can realize your potential.
