Wood Floors come in three basic types. Each has different look and feel, and a different response to moisture and wear.
- Solid Wood Floors are classic all-wood floors, popular for centuries and suitable for all-manner of modern above-grade (dry area) uses.
- Engineered Wood Floors are made from multiple layers of wood, pressed and glued together for durability. Engineered floors are suitable for both dry, above-grade areas such as a living room and damp, or below-grade uses such as a bathroom.
- Laminate Flooring is high-density polymer floor material, factory-finished to give it a look of any number of textures or materials.
- Acrylic-impregnated Wood Floors are wood floors injected with acrylic for durability. Acrylic-impregnated wood floors are most commonly used in commercial applications.
